This is the kinda shit that bugs me. We have this staff meeting on Thursday that stresses me the fuck out. I update my slides on Monday as a preliminary so I can get my notes together, and then I tend to update the data to the most up-to-date version on Thursday morning. I woke up today to a bunch of edits of like "this is out of date! that's out of date!: ignoring at the very top of the slide "Last Updated 3/24"

Like...I know. I'm working on it. I think I make enough mistakes to organically find things to criticize me on I don't need fake ones lol

 

I actually took (with permission) some of Beads Xanax yesterday because work had me stressing out so bad.

Oh god it’s opening day. My reminder last year I did a free $10 bet and picked the winner of all 15 games in 5 seconds. I got 14/15 correct and was 1 win away from 50k, but my stupid ass home team Red Sox won and ruined it lol

 

Cannot BELIEVE they went through all that crap last offseason with him just to be like “We know he just tore his ACL and his value is much lower now than this time last year, but we don’t want him anymore”

If my wife was home when I did it she would have said: “you can’t bet against your home team” and if I switched it to the Red Sox the parlay prob would have jumped to like 70k and won LOL

 

I used to be a huge baseball fan. Would watch the Yankees every night in the summer.

But when I moved out after college, I just lost touch with the game. I'll still semi-look at news/standings and keep up with it, but probably at like 5% of what I Used to.

 

My philosophy is always that you CAN bet against your home team but that if you lose because of that it's 100% your fault and adds extra embarrassment to the loss so why bother betting against them IMO
