    It was slow last night so I spent hours researching every wine bottle I’ve sold since he was gone. Larger patterns are starting to make sense to me in terms of, what regions grow what wines and why their climate and soil’s specific characteristics, and their locally specific way of making the wine make it taste like that. I now understand why the wine cellar is organized the way it’s organized and can just go in there without knowing the BIN number and know where to find stuff

    Learned a lot about sub-regions on the west coast and in Bordeaux, France AVA as well. I can now tell you the geographical & geological differences between different parts of the Willamette Valley and Sonoma County and Napa Valley and make a really good guess what a wine from that specific subregion will taste like. & I can tell you the differences between different red Bordeaux wines from different villages in the region

    One time I showed my dad this song to be cute but he thought I was gonna show him “I’m SORRY I CANT BE… perfeeeeect” and I was like I HATE SIMPLE PLAN YOU DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ME DAD and I slammed the door and listened to Staind
