Catching up on posts and here are my thoughts:

A) I will be very surprised, but still not care one iota if the structure of that contract actually resembles a 3/69 year deal. That thing is gonna be cap ain’t real up the wazoo

B) Giants thing makes sense if you view it through the prism of “win games or get fired.” Daboll is absolutely not leaving his fate in the hands of a rookie without having options.

Oh B.5) Drafting a QB at 3 still makes sense in the don’t fire me view because I’m kinda assuming at that point Mara is demanding it, which he probably should be.

C) I don’t remember what other crap you all were talking about. But I agree with some of you and some of you are nuts.

 

Who cares what Daboll thinks? If I’m Schoen, I’m drafting a rookie in the hopes that he saves my job and I’ll find a new head coach next year.

Yeah, most likely and I’d obviously be in favor of moving on from both of them at this point, but I think there’s a world that exists where Schoen stays but Daboll doesn’t

And unlikely world though and one that I still wouldn’t believe in the Giants in

 

Even if he doesn’t play until mid season and is 31 coming back from a tough injury, Diggs is 10000000x better than who Maye was throwing to last year.

Even if it doesn’t work out, don’t care. Just want them to try to take any chance and do something on that side of the ball to improve
