Podcasts have too many ads these days

 

I’m assuming you’re talking about the lonely island podcast? Way way too many ads for dudes that are already rich

 

Love an ad to pop up in the middle of a sentence when listening to podcasts. Very cool stuff

 

yeah the dynamic ad stuff kills me

 

used to like underoath, i’m not 22 anymore though

doesn’t help erase me is one of the worst albums ive ever heard and soured the band for me

 

Part of me is convinced some producers just rip the audio straight from YouTube or something because I’m like “There’s no way an ad is supposed to be there”

 

don’t act like it’s just me lol

 

I’m not 22 either, but I still like some of their stuff

A lot of music that I liked when I was younger has not stuck with me but a lot has too

I used to listen to a lot of nu metal and whatnot back in middle school and most of high school

Some of it still slaps tbh

 

i simply do not allow my age to define my music tastes but i have always been built differently

 

need the colts banner but it says “only listened to music like that in my 20s”

 

I haven’t listened to the newest one but it is ridiculous. They have Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping money!!

 

Yeah some of it doesn't hit but some of it absolutely does

It's fun to have fun sometimes

The thing that gets me the most about revisiting some of those bands is the production we used to put up with, especially with some of those Underoath-adjacent bands

Some of the production was ASS and it's wild to think about making mix CDs with all of these varying volume levels required

 

some truly dreadful stuff, no doubt
