lol yeah I mean my dad was a mechanic the majority of my life, I had my chance to be a Real Car Guy, I do keep up with like model/design change stuff though

 

My hornet has one underneath the radio but it charges so slowly

 

my father has essentially restored and built by hand several vehicles

might be related to me having no interest in the stuff

 

stuff used to charge better before woke

Painful memories for me

 

I haven’t watched Oppenheimer since it came out even though I bought the 4K asap

 

Cars are like, a HUUUUUUGE but totally dormant hobby of mine. If I never got into music I might actually be a car guy lol. But I can’t even really afford the ONE passion let alone multiple lol, shit I can’t even go to NFL games when I’m busy with my band let alone buy car parts

I’ve always loved cars since I was little, hot wheels were my favorite toys for awhile… until I got a PlayStation and then it was racing games lol. I am very very good at racing sims.

maybe i’ll rewatch it. i remember parts of it being more effecting than inception and his other hits bong once sci fi movies but that so much of the plot was jerking himself off

better than tenet and inception, worse than no less than five of his other movies

If I had real money I would 100% be learning how to do mechanic / tuning stuff and getting racing lessons and taking a car I’m working on myself to a track, maybe even trying to work my way up to actual amateur racing circuits

 

That would be my Paul Newman old guy hobby if my band ever got huge and made millions lol

 

my step dad would also listen to car talk on npr every long drive we would go on. really insane i’m able to listen to podcasts at all, the audio medium is so triggering

 

In my early high school years my dad was given an old (like maybe late 50s or 60s, not sure) Impala for some work he did that was, I thought, going to be a graduation gift for me, but then never ended up happening and it was sold and my first car was a 1993 ford escort

the impala was in ok shape iirc

 

i knew wed get to this point eventually
