had to make the decision to not go to Philly next weekend for the half marathon bc at this stage of megan's pregnancy I don't feel comfortable having her handle holly for a full weekend. gonna run it here by myself since I put the work in but still frustrating.

That's frustrating, but an understandable decision.

I got made fun of by everyone I know for skipping a TGA concert when they were in Boston because Beads was slated to be 8.5 months later and I didn't wanna be that removed from her should anything happen. So obviously that night she had prodromal labor and we were in the hospital at 3am lol

 

a good decision!!!

megan is in the middle of her first trimester and gets super nauseous and worn out multiple times a day. if it were just her, it would actually probably be great for her if I were out of the house, but holly is peak terrible twoing right now so I'm basically single parenting her half the day on the weekends as is. i would ask megan's mom to come down but she was just down last weekend and we don't really have anyone else in the area. oh well.

I bought a bottle of wine at dinner last night. I’m not much of a drinker, and especially not much of a wine drinker, but it was pretty pretty pretty good

 

eh I mean it isn't ultimately really that bad lol. much worse for her obviously and, even then, she's fine most days and just will either a) eat less or b) take zofran, and then goes to be at like 8 most nights so I watch the bucks or work on the record. just bad timing to go out of town.

 

Buying the turbo engine Subaru was so clutch, I gladly give up a few MPG if it means I can *easily* go around super dumb/slow drivers and can avoid ever getting cut off on the highway

 

God I love Zofran lol

 

Easier to run over those cyclists too

 

Literally 0 problems ever maneuvering around traffic, a little brief push of the gas pedal and I’m going 20mph faster before any asshole can try to block me or jump in front of me first. I love it.

 

I’m probably a lot more courteous to bikes and scooters than I am to other drivers tbh lol

It’s not like super fast, like, I’m not taking a crossover SUV on a track or street racing with it lmao but 260hp with turbo gives a nice kick.
