We didn’t see any while we were there I was a little sad about it but we also didn’t really leave the city except for the northern lights tour

 

I dont have anything *against* olive garden, its just if i want italian food there's probably three or four family owned small restaurants within 10 minutes that's gonna serve banginnnnn food.

I genuinely don’t get the point of restaurants having big menus and more than half of it being mediocre to ass. Just simply have a smaller menu and focus on what you do best.

I think Olive Garden is fine. It's not great and it's not terrible. Just fine.

I feel that way about most of these chains. Applebees has a really low floor. Most are mid and that's fine.

You’ll hear the same critique on Hell’s Kitchen and Bar Rescue for the record lmao

 

That’s like the number one criticism of those places outside of poor cleanliness, is too big of a menu making it impossible for everyone to have a good dining experience or for the kitchen to work efficiently or for you to minimize food waste

 

Olive Garden was goated as a broke early 20’s-something with all of their endless menu items but now it ain’t worth it

 

Great example. They could be a much better restaurant if they had any chill lol

 

The never ending pasta was the best. Cant eat that much anymore sadly.

 

An Olive Garden date in college was the stuff.

 

Just goddamn disappointing to deal with extreme indecision flipping through an 18 page menu, and then not thinking they’re even good at making what you finally settled on ordering

 

I read chill as chili and I was like I don't think that's whats holding them back lol

I have a distinct memory of when I first moved into a house in my early 20’s with 7 other roommates, going to Olive Garden that evening and leaving with like 5 to-go containers of pasta and breadsticks cause one of the roommates worked there lol
