I would actually say Carrabba’s used to be a top tier “casual chain restaurant” but it has gone so fuckin far downhill since i used to go there pre-2015

 

Id never step foot in a carrabbas just based on where i am from, same with olive garden. But i am spoiled.

 

I worked there originally bc I loved the food lol, in Maryland it was my first restaurant job that could actually guarantee me $500 a week even in slow season (such a low bar now that I look back lol)

 

I spent $30 on a reindeer burger in Iceland but it was also possibly the best burger I’ve ever had

I grew up in Florida (and north Florida, not “racist republican Italians from NY retire here” Florida) so Carrabba’s was the best Italian food we had lol

 

They also eat puffin, which I did not eat (mostly out of fear of Jocelyn murdering me)

Okay this I am against

 

Puffins are so cute I will die for them

 

a 2 burner blackstone is cheaper than I thought

 

I’d eat a reindeer though no questions asked

 

What’s weird is that they have puffin themed EVERYTHING, like they’re super proud of it, yet they eat it frequently and every Icelandic restaurant has it on the menu

 

When I went to Alaska there were puffins everywhere and it was the best

 

I find it bad generally but they have like 5 things on the menu I love and that’s all I’ll order lol

the salad (extra olives and cheese), the chicken Alfredo, the tour of Italy, the Zuppa Toscana, and the Peach Bellini tea. That’s it haha

 

I think it's bullshit they took their Stuffed Mushrooms off the menu because some dumbass tried to swallow them whole.

 

How many things do you have to love on a menu before it's not bad anymore lol

 

They employ like half the people in food as a whole I swear, every time I go in there’s 30 people working at once. I respect them for that

 

I work in nice restaurants, my bar is “if it’s not good don’t put it on the fuckin menu” lol
