I wish Culver’s was all over the country I was legit really impressed by their fast food burger

Five Guys very good but I can’t eat it in a car. Shake Shack twice the price of Culver’s / somehow more than Five Guys even though it’s like half portions

 

There was a Zaxby’s across the street from my high school and to this day the idea of Zaxby’s tenders never gets old lol. Love them.

 

Tbh I’d say Zaxby’s, Culver’s, Del Taco, and Cook Out are my favorite fast food places and NONE of them are in my area lol. Sad. Popeyes and Taco Bell round out my top 6.

Never had Zaxby's before but ive heard its pretty good.


We have Culver's all over the place and I really dont care for it outside of their ice cream.

had soup. not debating chicken. it’s only been like two days since the last blowup.

 

Five Guys is really more in the like, “fast casual category” (with Chipotle, Noodles & Co, Jersey Mike’s, Cava etc) and it’s not as high in that category as it would be if it was compared to fast food

 

These days if I'm willing to spend five guys prices, I'm probably just gonna go to a restaurant and get a better burger for what will end up being only a few dollars more. Absurd that five guys remains in business at those prices for what it is.

 

Five Guys is good but too expensive for a burger

 

I mean that’s fair but restaurant burgers are more expensive now at most places so it’s kinda moot point haha. I guess I’d still take a Chili’s or Ruby Tuesday or Friday’s burger over it but then you have to sit in a chain restaurant lol

 

But then if you go to an actually decent not-chain restaurant the burger is like, $19 not including fries or some shit lol. So Five Guys is at least cheaper than that.

 

The secret to five guys is overcustomizing so it ends up worth the cost

 

This is how I eat burgers and sandwiches in general so that’s why I hate Shake Shack cause they upcharge you for every little thing. It’s not expensive to get a plain ass cheeseburger but it IS expensive to deck it out

 

Like when I go to Jersey Mike’s I want like every ingredient they have on my sandwich lol. I get pickles and banana peppers on the side so the whole thing doesn’t just taste like vinegar but yeah lol

 

I don’t think I’d take those over Five Guys

Steak and Shake has good burgers but half the time they're shut down because they cant find people to work.

 

Simply grill your own burgers

 

It’s honestly the only thing those restaurants still do well lol

Don’t know how prevalent they are across the country, but Bad Daddy’s has gone so extremely downhill. When we first got them in Colorado they were about Five Guys’ price but at a sit down restaurant spot, now you can easily spend nearly $30 on a burger WITHOUT fries and the quality is atrocious

 

Chili’s reduced their “pick 3 for $10” from having multiple options for App, entree, dessert into ONLY chips, burger, lava cake but that doesn’t even bug me because that’s what i got from the pick 3 usually anyway. It’s a great deal and less than Five Guys even with 25-30% tip. Only difference is maybe I’d change it up and get nachos or southwestern egg rolls for the app before

Steak and shake was legit. I heard the reason they closed down (at least in Colorado) was actually because they wouldn’t raise their menu prices to keep up with increasing manufacturing costs, which if that’s true I kinda respect that lol

 

Thank god thats the only bad thing chilis has ever done

 

Chili’s was the goated chain restaurant for many years. It might still be because the competition is so ass, but idk cause we’ve basically cut out all chains for dining out
