If we're gonna pretend to ban things for pace of play can we ban trying to force an offsides for 20 seconds when we know it's not gonna happen and then calling a timeout

    Trusted

Had my accident almost two months and still haven't seen the orthopedist. BUT maybe the 4th referral they send will actually go through.

Feel like it’s natural for fans to think “why the fuck do linemen hold” but then the reality is that everyone holds all the time and the teams that win in the trenches have guys who are better at holding without getting caught

It really doesn't matter because they're not gonna change defensive holding

Offense getting higher scores is what the league wants

It'd be cool if they did though

“Don’t cheat” only applies when no one is cheating. In most professional sports, when people are getting paid millions of dollars, EVERYONE is finding subtle ways to cheat. The game becomes, “get good at cheating subtly, playing with grey area rules, and knowing when it’s not a good time to cheat cause you will get caught”

They might not change the rule but they could change what the penalty is. Idk maybe that’s overly optimistic

Absolutely hilarious when opponents of M4A use the "bUt YoUlL hAvE tO wAiT tO sEe YoUr DoCtOr" argument. Motherfucker what do you think we do now

SERIOUSLY. This maybe was a genius idea when like, Vince Lombardi or whoever first did it but every team knows that’s exactly what you’re doing now. stop wasting time

Defensive tush push is illegal for "player safety" reasons, why is the offensive play considered safer?
