You cannot speed either, Virginia has the traffic cop / state trooper budget of Georgia except VA cops will pull you over at 7 mph speeding while GA cops will let you go 12-13 over

Once driving through Richmond area alone I saw 9 different cars pulled over by cops, in the same 30 mile stretch of I-95

I lived in VA for exactly one year when I was 22 and got six tickets and my license suspended. They do NOT fuck around

during the road trip, we saw cops constantly going the other way and pulling people over. never northbound tho lol

 

Virginia cops will sit all night on a road with virtually 0 traffic, hide with their lights literally off, antagonize the only car on the road for miles and then give you a whole ass ticket not even a warning for going 62 in a 55 or 44 in a 35. I have gotten tickets in both of those exact situations. Not even interstates, I’m taking pitch black county roads where you’re more likely to see a deer than a car past midnight

 

Begging the Virginia police to put an end to this madness
