it is not my lived experience that maniac drivers in NY know what they are doing

 

I kinda think they do (at least in NYC) but I know you have a comparable experience to mine since you live on Long Island and I've been to NYC once so our experiences are equally valid

 

i had this convo actually recently with someone, taxi drivers and people used to driving in new york city are absolute nut jobs but id trust them to drive blindfolded. the long island expressway and neighboring parkways are a complete other story.

 

Yeah in NH I'll go 65 on the highway and people will look at me like I'm a maniac
