eh, you know shedeur is gonna have some wild extravagant draft night party. Not surprising that he declined.

it'll be fuckin hilarious to read the angry white person facebook comments if the giants draft him

"he cant even bother to be at the draft!!!!!"
    "He doesnt take it seriously!!!!!"

I’m late to the autism party, but I just want to share that I am absolutely FASCINATED by the concept of autism “superpowers” and how that happens. For example, a friend from high school can name almost any rollercoaster in the US and what makes it unique. She also remembers birthdays of random people she’s only met once with extreme precision. It’s wild to me how brains can work like that on such seemingly random things.

Im mostly glad that Im like, 1% on the spectrum, but that 1% is that I can remember basically any numerical code within a couple times being said to me. So, phone numbers, social security numbers, even super random shit like student ID numbers...or my personal favorite...before I had a smart phone, I could tell someone with internet access a river gauge number (like USGS 03075500), and I knew a solid 50+ of them that matched all the rivers I kayaked.

Thankfully old age + drinking has broken me of that a bit, because its kind of strange to remember number patterns so quickly. I should not be knowing my (now MIL, then person Ive met 2x's) cell phone so I can enter it in the HyVee rewards while visiting and buying groceries.

but anyways, I am just so indifferent anymore

there is no real plan as long as Grier is in charge

    they'll probably promote him again

Seems like the Dolphins could use a soft reset, which is odd considering they gave Tua an extension last offseason and McDaniel is maybe/probably in a prove-it year, but I don’t really see an issue with trading Ramsey (and Hill) so long as their honest with themselves and their vision

Which, from everything I understand about Grier, he probably won’t be

oh I think that is what this is. You know how I feel about Hill. I guess I am fine with trading Ramsey. Trading 30+ year olds is okay by me if you aren't a Super Bowl contender, which they clearly are not.

the rumors are that Ramsey never really liked Tyreek and doesnt particularly like McDaniel and how he treats Tyreek.

the problem is I have no faith in Grier to nail this draft and/or lead them out of this. Trading All Pro players isnt exactly the type of thing a guy does if he is on the hot seat, which also annoys me that he'll prob be here forever

What do you think of Grier’s draft history? I was listening to a podcast recently (don’t remember which one) and they got to talking about his lackluster results overall considering how long he’s held that job, but I feel like he’s gotten some players that range anywhere from solid to great over the last five years: Tua, Jackson, Waddle, Hunt, Phillips

some good and some bad, but not enough good

his problem is he has specific archetype for players and rarely pivots off that. He tends to lean more for athletic freaks than actual good football players. Sometimes that works out (A. Jackson has turned into a solid RT), sometimes it doesnt. We also almost NEVER have late round surprises/contributors, which you have to have to succeed in today's NFL. You should be able to at least find competent backups sometimes on day 3, and he almost never does that.
