    I have a meeting with a financial planner (advisor? analyst?) later, but I don't think I'm going to hire him so that's an exciting waste of time.

    I also started really looking at my retirement options and projecting out into the future and if I stay at this job until I'm like 56, I could retire and be making more from my pension than I am right now. I don't know how I'm ever going to leave this place...

    I need to meet with a financial advisor too but I kinda don't want to, I don't wanna lock up a bunch of money in this current administration given how easy it'd be for so much to collapse. Maybe an unreasonable fear for someone in my general bracket but I just have so little trust right now
