I think I watched it for the first time in like 10 years last year, so this is incorrect, I just like the cup because it's not too holiday centric, but makes the people who like the movie laugh

 

My dad was a great dad when we were kids. Worked full time, made dinner every night, cleaned the house, did all the yard work, and still made time to be a baseball & hockey coach for us.

One of my distinguished memories was in 6th/7th grade whatever grade, my Dad was FINALLY going to be the head coach of my hockey team. I was so happy. Finally. And then unfortunately he got in trouble with pills and they didn’t let him coach the team. And then we lost the house. And a divorce in there. And yeah

 

Yeah, but it's coming from me, who clearly does not care about Halloween at all. Like, before we had kids, we would turn the lights off and go out for the night and do something unrelated. Might go to a party if someone's having one, but it's just not my bag, baby

also the scene in Lost where sawyer finally tells jack about his encounter with his dad

Speaking of Halloween....I think the new Alkaline Trio (I bet they love the holiday) song is the best thing they've put out in a while. Better than the other singles, better than everything on the last album, and maybe my favorite Skiba fronted song since like, 2011??

The scene that gets me the most is not father related, it's when Sawyer and Juliet recognize each other at the vending machine in the final season. Literally got goosebumps thinking about it just now lol

love my step dad but he's unreliable as hell and kind of a deadbeat but in a way that makes me feel bad for him bc of what he's gone through that made him that way. my father is just an asshole and i don't feel bad for him at all.

 

anywho though the new Snocaps album is really good. katie from waxahatchee, her sister from swearin' and their old band together ps elliott, and mj lenderman along with the producer they all use
