So....in a bit of karmic news to start the day, the company I just left had my counterpart, whom they hired only 3 months ago, give his notice yesterday. They now 2 empty spots in a critically important 3 person team. I feel bad for my friends who are a little screwed because of this, but i'm glad everyone is saying "hmm maybe we shouldn't have shitcanned Dave" and looking at the boss who fired me negatively.

 

in other unrelated news dave just got a volunteer gig

 

One of the best “fuck you” feelings after being stupidly let go from a job (and now getting settled into a new one) is watching them completely fall apart
