could be different depending where you work but a lot of places log and monitor your activity. Not that anyone here is really posting things that are bad. But I always post from my phone.

 

Posting on a work laptop is 100% safe as long as you’re not going to sketchy websites and/or you’re not in a highly controlled, locked down environment, which I doubt any of us are, otherwise we wouldn’t be posting here lol. I regularly use forums all over the internet to find answers to things so if your IT was really looking into you (because you gave them a reason) they’d just see you’re visiting a forum that could have been used to find an answer to something
