Jk lol if my allergies were as bad as they were as a kid I couldn’t do cats. I had a horrible asthma attack when I was 13 and stayed at an aunt’s apartment who had 3 cats. I’m lucky they got to a “tolerable” point as an adult - and via controlled / repeated exposure to friends cats and to a roommate’s cat, I’ve been able to lessen my histamine response to cats. Now I might get a little sniffly and gotta wash my hands if I pet a cat before I touch my eyes, but that’s it.
