morning/afternoon/evening posters. supposed to be a rainy weekend so we're gonna do a horror movie marathon and carve pumpkins

 

I’ve had easier times with dogs. Stevie usually sleeps in with Nadia and doesn’t wake us up. The dog I had with my ex also slept in with us. Jesse wakes me up almost every day between 5:30-6:30 by screaming at me.

We may be having a very similar weekend too!

 

Yep once 5 am hits the cats are ready to fuck our shit up. They go to the blinds, they talk, they go under the covers, they wanna spoon. Then we kick them out and they scratch the door for 2 hours until we let them back in

When we had a cat, we did what normal people do. We shut the door at night and put foil outside of it so he wouldn't come knocking and then when we bought a house, we gave him his own room upstairs away from us. Not that difficult

 

Jesse is truly insane. I tried foil before and he played with it. He’s not afraid of anything and has no brain cells. He’s also the loudest cat I’ve ever heard. He doesn’t meow he yells.

Luckily I'm good at being a morning person sometimes and can deal with whatever

Laura used to be a morning person and is not anymore at all

 

Jesse’s food is downstairs and sometimes he forgets he has food in the bowl and will come yell at me so I have to walk downstairs and show him he already has food.

 

I have never and will never be a morning person. Earlier this year I tried getting up earlier to work out and it didn't...work out. Like I can do it, I just hate it so much.

Jesse doesn't sound very smart. I'd consider giving him up for adoption

One day of jesse screaming at me for food at 5 am has brought me more joy than all of your posts combined

 

My cats sleep from 9 pm to 7 am it is great

 

Same dawg it’s a big reason why I remain comfortable in the restaurant industry lol. I am way too used to sleeping however much I want. I still go to bed early sometimes when I need it but I do not have a bedtime / wake up requirement and I love living this way lol.

That said, the restaurant industry is limited in the sense that, in this economy I have to work in a top 1% percentile restaurant in terms of reputation and prestige to pay my bills and save for my future. As the economy gets worse I continue to wonder if I will have to switch careers and be a morning person one day lol. So far so good though

 

I'm not sure this changes anything I suggested, though.
