Monday rehearsal with bassist to teach him a new song, then going to Ravens / Lions cause I’m a degenerate who spends all my money

then Tuesday got a bigger rehearsal with both the drummer and bassist, to go over the 5 songs the bassist knows so far as a band. Then we showcase the new 3 piece at the most packed open mic in DC.

(after that it’s 2 weeks till our next big show, plenty of time to teach him song 6 of the setlist and review it all as a band / hammer out the last few sloppy parts)

 

Im still gonna be mad af at last week even if we win this week. When’s the last time the Jags started 3-0??

havent got an new ones in a while. The line on my finger was my first tattoo. It was a work place accident from when I was a printer. Printing presses have these blades they call doctor blades because they grind against the ink rollers and get surgically sharp. You are supposed to be very careful when you take them off and not leave them lying around. One day one of the printers asked me the apprentice to wipe down his desk and I did not see the doctor blades he had left on it and sliced my finger open. At first I didn’t notice because they are so sharp they slice all the nerves and you don’t feel anything and I was like “where’s all this red ink coming from” then I did notice and it was spurting in pulses which I used to think was something that only happened in cartoons. I call the manager and go to the first aid room. He told me to wash out all the ink while he prepared to disinfect and wrap it. I started to clean it but the cut opened and I could see the bone so I just said I was done. Later the doctor said I would need laser treatment to get rid of it and also I had conjunctivitis which was an unrelated eye problem at the time.
