Job search update:

I am dumb as hell and fibbed on my resume about how long my unemployment gap was by like 8 months just out of embarrassment. I didn't think it was an issue because I didn't even cross my mind I'd get a job that requires a thorough background check. I am now currently in the interviewing process for two jobs that require a background check. One didn't bring it up the gap and i don't think they would care anyway, but the much higher paying one did bring it up and I was stupid and reaffirmed the lie in the interview.

Man I fucked up didn't i? At least reading Reddit posts about this makes me think I did. One of my best friends who is a hiring manager said they probably won't care.

 

And yes i know i accidentally posted that in the NCAA thread.
