My care level is at like 10% lol, it's more of an annoyance really, especially since the food they bring in isn't very good to begin with. Just wanted to see if others thought of it as rude

I think it’s pretty common and wouldn’t consider it rude. See it all the time at my current company. Sales will being in a customer and get lunch for the customer and sales team.

 

Behind closed doors or out in the open for everyone else to see?

 

the office area is kind of small so they carry it through to the conference room but set it up in the conference room. So it’s not out for all to see but all know it happened.

 

I bring this up because this is a company that uses the word 'culture' every chance they get and always talks about how great our culture is (which is a bold-faced lie), but I bring it up in the context of this whole thing. Imo getting lunch for these outside people is fine and well, and expected, but it's the everything out in the open part that rubs me the wrong way while you've got the "lesser" folks who are doing all the grunt work watching ya'll

 

I just like pointing out corporate hypocrisy that's all

I’d consider it rude to not let people have what’s left after the meeting

 

If it's not pizza, they generally get individual boxed lunches made up by the catering company lol

 

There isn't usually anything left, they order just enough for the people in the meeting lol
