I finally watched Bucs / Texans

slugfest of two awful offensive lines lol. At least the Bucs had an excuse - both starting tackles were out, and that Texans DL really stood out - Will Anderson, Danielle Hunter, Sheldon Rankins all looked really good. I am a Baker Mayfield fan, he adapted really well to that blocking situation, plus an apparent ankle discomfort / injury from a guy falling on him, plus Stingley shutting down Evans. And still won.

The Texans STARTING line is just that bad. I saw one play where all five linemen fucked up and 3 guys sacked Stroud at the same time lmao. the LT, LG, C, ALL got fooled by two LBs doing a fake blitz, the RG got fooled by Lavonte David doing a delayed blitz, while Tytus Howard just had such a slow kick slide a guy ran right around him. Was goddamn silly. And they had Stroud so rattled he had a HILARIOUS play where he threw a dinky pass directly into three Tampa Bay defenders and his own guy was nowhere near it (David dropped the easiest interception ever).

Stroud is in trouble lol he is not playing anywhere near as good as he actually is in that sorry ass offense that can’t block or run the ball

 

It’s also fucking hilarious and ultra validating to me the Texans benched Cam Robinson after one game. Man we made excuses for Cam’s shitty pass blocking for years. The Vikings rented him for like 5 games for a Darrisaw injury, decided that sucked, then only the team with possibly the worst offensive line in the league wanted him after that, and they only tolerated one game before they were like “even WE have 5 better guys than Cam” hahaha
