When I lived near BWI, I exclusively flew Southwest because I could get so many direct flights for so cheap. But now that Im far from a hub and they've fucked up all their perks, I fly it a lot less.

Though Im gonna end up with a companion pass for '26/'27, so Im guessing Ill end up flying more with them next year

 

what about non candy jelly beans?

 

Why fly when you can drive 15hrs somewhere?

As someone who did the drive from MD->Iowa and back like 4-5 times during the COVID years, I guess I cant say shit, but, we will be flying to Maine for our family vacation at the end of the month and flying to Vegas for our family vacation in January vs doing 20+ hour drives for each

 

I feel more in control - also easier in some ways with a toddler (also we’d break that drive up into two days at least anytime it’s 8+ hours

 

I should’ve clarified - I don’t mind flying when I don’t have a toddler lol
