Yeah, it’s definitely true sometimes, lot of cyclists just cut across the road whenever and don’t fuckin think. I don’t think anybody is safe enough, cars don’t watch out for pedestrians or cyclists either when they get impatient and entitled.

Both groups hate each other and both sides have points because at the end of the day the way we organize transportation overall is not the safest or most forward thinking system, the education of how to use that system is real loose and inconsistent / varies by state law and also varies because rural driving requires different skills than city driving, and it has really half baked solutions about mass transit and bikes because they get shouted down by vehicle industry interests and our car centric / individualistic culture.
