they only do that because 1) there’s no bike lane 2) they aren’t allowed on the sidewalk

that’s the problem is everybody on the road l from pedestrians to cars hates bikes and there is no place for them that everyone agrees is safe and courteous

 

Drivers say “ride on the sidewalk” people on the sidewalk say “that’s illegal ride on the road”

They try to ride on the side of the road but parallel parked cars are often in the way and it’s very easy to get doored by someone who didn’t check a mirror first, or get run off the road by a wide truck not being careful

like what are they expected to even do lmao it’s an infrastructure problem but everyone just blames the cyclists

Yes Dylan is extremely nice to a kinda spooky level

 

In the area where Im at, they can hug the side of the road if they dont want to be on the sidewalk. downtown is probably different but I see bike lanes down there all the time whether they chose to use them or not.

Cults don't seem that bad as long as you keep an eye on your drink

Where I will agree with you is IF there’s a bike lane, use it dummy lol. Cyclists not using bike lanes when tax dollars were actually used to make them does piss me off, a lot.

I also agree that in non dense areas riding on the sidewalk is by far the safest option for everybody but it is still worth noting that it is against the law to do so, and the law points to one biased study from Palo Alto California as the reason why

 

What about at the Mid level though
