Andy Hull is one of my favorite frontmen. I may not have liked every album fully but there’s always something good and I truly believe they have a couple of damn near perfect records in their catalogue.

 

Last time I saw them was at the stuffing in maybe 2022 and it kinda stunk. It was in a massive Atlanta theater that was seated where someone like Jason Isbell would play. Seems like a misunderstanding of what seeing them live should be like

 

At SXSW the tent they played in was sponsored by Fosters so dudes were just getting hammered on giant cans of Fosters and there was maybe 100 people because it was tiny. Was pretty awesome
