very cool ive ordered the Sunlight Stereo last week and waiting for it to ship. Want to get an acoustic song done with it this month.

Yeah ive been using amp sims in the daw forever, it makes everything easier (editing, consistency, no setup, dont have to wait till an appropriate time of day). Ill likely never go back to real amps unless I have a treated sound proof home studio which i cant see happening in the next 10 years and even then with the sims getting better and better I just dont see it.

 

The sound from tubes just is better imo and most of the modelers available kinda stink to me but the way these were pitched were as sounding more like mic’d up cabs than like amps in a room which is appealing to me since that’s what I’m trying to replicate lol. Also the edge and bob weir are using this brand now at, like, the sphere??? Weird but a pretty big co-sign lol.

I’m running them in stereo out of my chorus pedal and it’ll make recording way easier

Yeah ive heard live techs talking about how much easier it is live as well, front of house gets exactly the same thing every night, no stage noise, unlimited switching of amps for songs, they break less on tour and if they break on tour you can just download your patch.

Since we’re going to Dallas in a couple of weeks and then visiting family on thanksgiving, I needed new clothes since I live in shorts and t shirts most days. Got some great stuff and felt really good in the stuff I got. Got some new hats too. Finally found a TX Rangers Peagle hat that I was psyched about.

I wanna know where the hype came back for that one

it was solid tho from what I remember

 

I think it just came to Netflix and anytime they put a movie that isn’t a shitty Netflix slop original it’s the top movie for like a month.
