Putting the finishing touches on the basement

 

Tbh I usually stand toward the back cause the sound is better and it’s easier to get sweet videos but @spiffa0 is surprisingly a TROOPER at shows lol. His personality is so “I’m too old for that shit I’m a dad and an accountant” EXCEPT when he’s at a pop punk show lolllll. I was like “oh shit we doin front? Damn I haven’t done that shit in years”

 

I get more active at local shows cause the crowd is usually more chill, though I will say I was up fuckin front for the last Pool Kids show I saw

 

i will go up as close as i can most of the time. just depends on the venue and how packed it is. towards the back the sound balance might be more clear a lot of the time but goddamn theres something about being up front and feeling the bass rattle your bones

 

I’m just an audiophile I wanna hear every detail of what that second guitarist is doing

 

Honestly yall could respond to all my posts with “ok detail boy” and I’d be like “fair i deserve that” lol

it’s that same part of my brain that can’t get enough of football strategy and literally rewatches games and pays for coaches film so that I can have more layered football opinions. I do that just for me - even knowing that I have 0 online clout and most people still won’t take me and my takes seriously lol - because it makes watching the games more fun for me when I know what a team is / isn’t good at and why

Just built a climbing wall for my daughter about a month back to add onto our basement and its a LOT more fun when the basement is finished and you're just doing little tweaks as the kids age

 

UAFX Lion (jcm 800) and Enigmatic (dumble). Had some reverb cash stockpiled so I was able to get both for less than one’s retail price lol

 

It’ll make recording actually possible while at home and unable to mic up my amp with the bb’s snooze schedule. And they sound much better than the modelers in the helix, which I need to just sell already. I only use it for bass recording these days and there are better and cheaper ways to do that lol

 

Think I’ll trade in the series x tomorrow and get a ps5 for a Xmas present.

Series X was a regret buy for me lol. That thing is a paperweight

 

Yeah my son and I never use it. He really wants to play astrobot plus the actual exclusives on a PlayStation make me want to go ps5. GameStop is offering about 260 store credit for a series x and maybe I can get another 50 for games and controllers.

 

I only use my ps5 as a 4K player lol

I use it a lot for that but seems like a waste
