Acting upon the advice of Josh, a seasoned parenting expert, we have decided to move Milo out of the Montessori school. In retrospect, it's definitely a cult. And Milo finally got into the daycare we wanted him to go to all along.

 

If anyone's wondering what set me over the edge, it was the teacher on day one telling another parent "Wes was a little loud during rest time, if you could talk to him about that, that would be great."

Like...what? Shut up. Shut all the way up.

 

2 year olds are loud. It happens. It's day one in a new school. Christ.

I've never seen the show, but the scene where they have the lineup sing I Want It That Way is very very very funny.

Ya just know if that's day 1 stuff, every pickup is gonna be "Milo placed the playdough in the wrong bin if you could talk to him about that..." nonsense.

Also, the food stuff and the birthday stuff they went through was fucking bananas. They gave all the parents a list of food to bring in and it's like...exclusively fruit and vegetables and goldfish were made out to be the most unhealthy bullshit you could ever give a kid. And then on the kids birthdays, no cupcakes or treats, instead the kid will hold a candle and walk around a globe as many times as the age they're turning. Like...

 

I would crush a banana right now.
