when you see the average clientele of most atlantic city casinos, it becomes pretty evident that going out to dinner and staying at an atlantic city hotel is among the more 'upscale' things they do. lol

mortons steakhouse, a few gordon ramsay spots, Carmine's, Dock's Oysters to name a few are Nice Places for folks whos idea of going out to a nice dinner is the olive garden.

atlantic city is white trash disneyland.

I just called and was told Indiana is currently losing to Iowa.

 

Eh, I spend a lot of time in Philly. Dock's Oyster House has a better raw bar than anywhere in the city. It's absolutely one of the top oyster houses and seafood restaurants on the east coast.

AC itself isn't the greatest, but there's a lot of charm in the historic parts of town. Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown took a really good look at the city and is a perspective worth having, imo.

Then there's Chef Vola's and Cafe 2825, which are widely considered some of the best old school, red sauce Italian American spots you'll find anywhere.

Plus there's Knife & Fork Inn, etc. I could go on and on, but it really is a great dining destination if you know where to look.
