no but seriously, fountain machines take a lot of effort to clean. i used to have to do that. if not done well, mold easily grows in it.

I don't have strong opinions on which soda tastes best from where, but mountain dew is trash from anything other than a plastic bottle.

 

I think there's a big qualifier on that because a fountain soda from a freestyle machine is clearly at the bottom, but a clean, properly operating soda fountain with freshly tapped dr. pepper is hard to beat.
