my buddy in PA has worked for one of the tribes in Oklahoma for like, at least 10 years. I think he's the only remote employee they have, they like him enough to let him keep the job when they moved 5 years ago

he'd also been working for a sports apparel company doing web design but they're laying him off as there's just not a huge workload, but they're paying him through the end of the year. not bad.

 

I've often thought about getting a second job that is remote and just doing it while I'm working this one, because I could totally make it work (and I'd probably finally leave the thread), but it would technically violate my contract, so I can't.
