that's not a knock against The Stand, mind you. I loved it. I just think McCammon did a better version. I read them about 2-3 years apart and while the Stand might win on characters overall, I thought Swan Song was way more impactful and better written.

This will be the first Thanksgiving I've taken part in since like 2021 I think. Family sucks

i enjoy not being near family during thanksgiving. i don't need all the time wasted cleaning and cooking, etc. i can just relax and watch shitty football

oh for sure, we've just had family be openly hostile and antagonistic towards us around holiday's. we're going to go visit a different part of my wife's family this year

@Shakriel we have to go dairy free because the baby has an intolerance for it and was having bloody poos which seems like something he shouldn't be having for another 30 years
