My mum was a teacher, shes retired now but teaches ESL to the Chinese grandparents at her church. Each week she creates a slide show with an average of 120-200 slides with each slide having at least 10 animations. It takes 1000s of furious clicks each week to get through the lesson. Despite most weeks only getting through around 50 slides all new slides are made again for the next week. Last week she wouldnt tell me how long she spent creating a memory tile game in microsoft powerpoint where you choose a tile to flip and it shows you a picture and then you have to choose another tile to flip with the matching word. She has mentioned on several occasions that she was too tired after getting up at 2am the night before because inspiration had struck her for a new lesson idea.
