One of our dispenser parts vendors came into town specifically just to visit and take us to dinner idk I don’t usually get invited
My new job told me I was gonna be on call to respond to automated alerts for emergencies. They didn't tell me clients on the west coast were going to be calling me to ask technical questions at 2am EST waking me up to do phone customer service shit. I am so fucking pissed. Do you know how hard it is to switch into phone customer service mode when you get woken up half asleep in the middle of the night and aren't expecting it? I will be honest initially when I woke up I thought they were calling my personal line and I hung up on them. I took me over a minute to realize they were calling me via 3CX (the VoIP work phone app)
the kicker was it was an account that i am not even added to yet so i couldn't even look up their info in our system.

I was tired as fuck yesterday and slept most of it - took a nap and then went to bed at 11PM now I’m up at 6 AM to finalize the new lyrics to my last song before I go record the vocals today feels weird being “rested” at this hour but I’m wide awake now
Hahahaha I know that feel man. Luckily if weathers ever that bad my restaurant is slow af too cause people cancel their reservations, so it’s easy to take off work lol.
