Since grim is going to get a new job, I am also looking to hire. Can anyone teach algebra 2 and pass a background check? With this squad, I assume the latter is more difficult
For the first time ever, I have a restaurant job with enough potential that I don’t find switching careers appealing lol
Sorry the problem is the current teacher can’t do much more than fractions so you are out. Containers don’t bother me tho so that’s cool
If i made my own tips I’d average like $400-$500 a day but it is tip share actually lol. So im not doing THAT well, i am kinda barely making enough to afford my apartment, car, music space and recording lol. But that’s one of my best selling points for a pay raise - I can demonstrate that for the past year I’ve had the highest sales by far. 4 nights a week out of 5 I’m bringing in the highest number of sales and tips even if volume was spread equally lol. This past Saturday I brought in $820 and the other server / lead Somm brought in less than $400 lol. And I realized just recently that if I ask for $15 an hour to be the head server essentially, I may be able to start looking at whole townhouses for rent not just apartments lol
Non tip share wouldn’t be fair though - very few people come to fine dining spots just to sit at the bar, so the bartender would make nothing and he’s crucial to my tables being happy and is as good at his job as I am at mine tip share and give a higher wage to your best servers is really the only fair way
My niece worked at an atlas spot this summer and had some nights where she pulled in like 800. It was nuts. Usually more like 3-400 but that’s still solid
Yes I’ve made this joke before lmao it’s not NOT true. Recording costs me more monthly some months than the $25k car I bought last year including insurance and gas lmao
