Thanksgiving > 4th of July for me I enjoy turkey, stuffing, gravy, potatoes, etc. so the food is good. However, getting a consistent 4 days off in a row from work is elite (my work gives me Black Friday off) I eat burgers and hotdogs all summer so 4th of July doesn’t have special food for the day. And is only 1 day off unless falls on Monday/friday And I hate fireworks. Still enjoy the holiday.
I don’t cook on either day nor do I have children to transport to different homes. So the “for me” is doing some heavy lifting
thanksgiving weekend is always sneakily busy. friends and family always try to sneak things in throughout the weekend because people are home, visiting, etc. i almost never feel like i'm actually relaxing at all any of the 4 days of thanksgiving weekend. i will eat 58lbs of stuffing tomorrow though
Yeah definitely busy for the 4 days Friday we are going to the movies. Saturday I’m taking my dad bowling. Sunday my ass will sit.
Getting ready to make a sauce and meatballs. BIG moment for Thanksgiving where we volunteered to take this task on. We aren’t telling her grandma.
