My wife and I went on a cruise like 7 years ago, just us 2. And for the formal dinner they put us at a table of 10. It was two different families of 4 and then just us. We lasted two times and just did the buffet for dinner the rest of the trip because it was so awkward
got what i think is a good vacation package from a travel agent for Paris next spring for my wife's birthday but we haven't finalized it yet. have to put the deposit down and then we'll pay the rest with my christmas bonus next month
Oh 100%. One of the best bang for your buck vacations. There’s a reason why some retirees basically live on them
We might be doing Mexico next November for a friend’s wedding and then California at some point and then probably Iceland in 2027. I heard they have great hot dogs.
I haven't listened to Post Rock in some time but decided to check out We Lost the Sea. Good stuff so far.
One of the easiest, simplest vacations. I don't mind them, but the "anti-cruise" rhetoric is so nauseating that it's become a hot take to enjoy a cruise lol It probably would not be our next several trips because we'd prefer London/Scotland/UK/etc. while we're still young and can handle walking a ton, but I would do an Alaskan cruise if it came up
Alaskan or Rhine River would be the only cruises I would go on. You wont catch my ass in the middle of the ocean eating onion sandwiches on a broke down ship.
