Okay, so this isn't a thing at Mark, I know he's just trying to be nice.

But when we lost the house the last time, the thing that annoyed me the most was 'I'm sure you'll find an even better one." Drove me absolutely nuts. Like...nah that house was perfect and then the next day sold for 50k more. There's no chance I'm finding an equally good house at an equally good price.

Just really irked me and I couldn't even do anything about it because people don't know and it's just a nice platitude people say.

Just saw someone respond to a similar post that I told you to do and it's apparently not nice. Skip it

 

I also have to figure out patching a part of our wall which we discovered isn’t drywall but instead plaster on top of concrete so that’s a fun house thing to deal with

 

We shame mark for so much of his person-hood already. At some point we're just being lazy.

 

What people should say is "I'm sure the inspection revealed a ton of mold and issues that weren't noticeable when you saw the house and you avoided a money pit"

Every now and then I do check to see if it burned down and killed the owners in a tragic accident and this was one of those "I was supposed to pilot a flight on 9/11 but then had to shit" stories.

My whole house is like plaster board, I guess...it's basically concrete with metal mesh around the corners and is a nightmare to rip down. Anyway, not sure what you're doing, but I had to patch a ceiling in a closet and just cut a hole and used regular dry wall to patch it and then painted

But it's also a closet, so I didn't care if it looked bad
