1) right by the main highway exiting the city toward DC. like, you sit at two red lights and that’s it. Get to skip the line of traffic every single time even when it’s awful. Basically guaranteed to get to DC in an hour or less cause you only deal with DC’s traffic not really Baltimore’s

2) steps from the harbor, and Federal Hill Park with an amazing view of the city. Also steps from downtown, if you got a job in one of the city high rises you never drive or pay for parking. The main free bus route (Charm City Circulator), a light rail train to BWI airport, and one of the commuter trains to DC comes right by you too. Did I mention walking distance from Camden Yards, a top 5 MLB stadium? I’d get season tickets and always watch them there lol.

3) you’re right at the front of Federal Hill so you don’t deal with the hassle of getting out of there either. 15 minutes from Fells point / Canton, 15 minutes from Locust Point, 10 minutes from Mt Vernon / Station North. You’re legit equidistant from every corner of the main downtown / urban area around the harbor.

4) end unit. I can set my drums and shit up in there. I only have one attached neighbor who would give a fuck and he probably works opposite hours of me anyways. I’d be recording and practicing almost daily lol.

5) it’s an updated 2,000 square foot property, that offers both elite urban proximity and nice tucked away / quiet residential vibes (Otterbein is the only part of downtown that is like this), that is still worth less than $400k in 2025.

 

Sometimes I’m glad I live in bum fuck Iowa. That townhouse is almost the same price as my house.
