The Vikings have such a good thing going: they have potentially drafted their franchise QB, they have locked up the best WR in football, just spent a ton on their line and defense in FA, already have an elite OT coming back from injury, have a great WR2, have locked up the coach of the year long term … all to just light it on fire for the disaster of 2025 Aaron Rodgers??? Doesn’t make any sense.

If McCarthy’s injury (which has been reported to be ahead of schedule multiple times) was the hesitation I’d think they would have put more of an effort on bringing back Darnold
