    Was she provacative and talkative?

TBF I think that weirdo was only like 18 when that album came out so I don't know if it was a JL situation. But yeah even if not he's just weird vibes all around.

Same. I remember he played, like, seven or eight songs and two or three of them were covers. We were like…what is going on?

  7. thanks and yeah it helped that the Bucks were ass / 8th seed merchants but the Bucks were always the #1 - I vividly remember telling my father that re-signing John Salmons and trading for Chris Douglass-Roberts was gonna help the Bucks make the ECF in 2011

it really sucks that many of the bands that I loved as a teen had really shitty people in them

Brand New was my favorite band of all time

I've only met a few musicians for a few minutes each and I'd say Dan Andriano and Derek Grant were some of nicest dudes I've met. Skiba I met briefly and also seemed chill but he jumped on the bus a lot faster than the other two at the time.

I've met Dan a few times now, last time I saw him live I couldn't help myself from singing the harmony in the bridge of Waiting By Myself that Dave Haus sings on the recording and I sang it really loud and he looked over and said "thank you!" between lines lmao

When I shit at work, I’m always amazed at all the people who go up to the urinals or the small next to me in their bare fucking feet like they’re animals

I started taking pictures of their feet and sending them to my friend. I’ve seen some fuckin shit, let me tell you

Sonny Moore was probably the nicest musician I've met, so happy for his success

There might be others I'm forgetting but he stands out so much

  14. I have two Matt Skiba memories - one was interviewing him in 2013 for the record my shame is true and he was really kind and the second time was doing shots with him and Jordan Buckley at the rainbow room next door to the Roxy after an Every Time I Die gig

Jimmy Eat World were probably the nicest musicians I ever met. Their manager tried to hurry us along and get our photo over with and they were like "nah, they can chill" and chatted with us for a bit.

my favorite thing to do when Skrillex was popular was play them some FFTL songs and tell them that was 16 year old Sonny Moore lol

Yeah John is super nice and I like his sense of humor haha. Adam and Shaun were nice too but John definitely seems more my speed, could definitely enjoy having a beer and chatting with him.

I remember briefly meeting Chris of The Appleseed Cast in early 2022 on tour with Thursday when bands started touring again and the rest of his band had to drop off for a handful of dates (I think someone either got covid or was exposed to it) so he played by himself with backing tracks.

I commended him for the show and told him that I wish I could have played drums for him. He told me, had he known sooner, he probably would have hit me up on the offer. Was kicking myself for that one. Would have been so sick
