the only thing about Anthony Green thats always rubbed me the wrong way is that he's a huge 9/11 truther. he used to post Tower 5 shit on twitter every year on 9/11. nothing that needs to be posted in the accountability thread but i always side-eyed it.

 

I saw Circa once, I don't remember who it was with, and I thought the music was good but I CANNOT do AG's voice whether in Circa, LS Dunes, or Saosin

 

Craig is a piece of shit and that is from experience

he tried to get our friend to drive drunk to hook up with him, among other numerous other gross shit

 

the discussion I recounting was in like 2007 but both bands probably were playing the same sized venues. I saw Chiodos headline here in Indianapolis in the summer of 2008 at the Egyptian room and in 2012 I saw Circa Survive headline the Nokia Theatre downtown in LA (and that card was insane - get this it was O'Brother/Balance and Composure/Touche Amore/Circa - those were the days baby)

 

I know meeting musicians and chatting with them for a couple minutes is far from a reflection of who they are as a person, but Anthony was awesome when I finally got the chance to meet and chat with him in 2022. Was a very life-affirming conversation. I’ll never forget it

i've met anthony a few times very casually and hes always been friendly as hell

 

I remember the 9/11 stuff and thought that was very weird and kind of out of place.

 

I remember when Circa did that tour with TA, B&C, and O’Bro and I was so bummed it didn’t come to Philly. Such a sick lineup

 

to tie it full circle - Chiodos is doing the anniversary tour thing this spring for all's well that ends well and the Daoboys are opening for it so I'll probably go to that but just hang out with the band instead of watching Craig struggle to hit those notes live lol
