there’s a large party upstairs but I’m the “hold down the dining room while everyone else works it” server in case they get slammed with unexpected numbers of walk in’s, cause I’m the only person who can handle 30+ people in a night without losing service quality

it has been a blessing of a shift, slow enough for me to literally wash and fold my work uniforms, socks, sheets and pillows in housekeeping’s laundry machines lol

A 9 month out of date tag!!!

 

Grandpa came back from rehab yesterday. Couldn’t stand up again today. Back in the hospital. Now he’s getting a pacemaker tomorrow.

im exhausted and I wish my grandma was being sensible about this but she isn’t and was the one who pushed for him to come home when he very clearly shouldn’t have yet. Also don’t understand how doctors just completely missed that his heart rate was getting scary low until now.

 

Sounds miserable. I’m watching basketball in my underwear
