It’s not that he’s not elusive and can’t get open, it’s that there’s too much hesitation & stutter stepping for the speed of the NFL game. He needs to simplify his line of scrimmage releases and his breaks out of the stem compared to the weird shit he did all the time at Colorado. That can be hard to do and still maintain your elusiveness while condensing your internal clock for how long you have / how many ways you can be deceptive in that limited time.

They’ve also gotten video footage of him stumbling & mis-stepping in unguarded route running drills which, even if those clips are cherry picked, tells me it’s not committed to muscle memory yet and his footwork isn’t as smooth on offense as on defense
