Called my HOA to follow up on these freakin’ windows and the lady over the phone got RUDE with me for sending it to an email for this lady Tracy because she no longer works there.

How the fuck would I know that, as I was told just last week to send it to her ????

I'm not looking to jinx anything here, but I've lived in my house so long now and I've never spoken once with the HOA. They've sent letters here and there asking for the fences to be stained a certain color or whatever and I ignore it entirely just like the rest of my neighbors.

 

They all freak out about getting permits and shit for work being done but then make it IMPOSSIBLY difficult and slow.

I’m certain if I didn’t tell them NOTHING would happen and they wouldn’t even know.

Will use this approach going forward I think

 

lmao wtf, my wife returned to work from short term disability on Monday and she was supposed to get paid today by the company that handles stuff while you take leave, and she didn't. Then they tried to say it was because of a holiday and would be in our account on Monday... which is an actual holiday. Good thing we don't have any important bills or anything.

 

Just don't feed your family, right? Simple as that.

It was pretty obvious they realized they fucked up and pushed it through today and it will take a day or 2. You follow all the rules, provide all the documentation and medical stuff they ask for, and you still get fucked.

 

thankfully i got paid today and we will be fine, but if it was the end of the month and we had to pay our mortgage, it would've been a little painful

 

Anyways, thank you for the vent session. Long weekend couldn't come soon enough. Not doing anything really since my wife is still healing up, but will be nice to just chill, watch some shows/movies, cook some good food, play some video games, and rest.

 

Have zero desire to conduct this 3.5 hour training today before a long weekend
