So we have this big debate that I/ME/DONNIE have never seen an oriole before.

And I’m very fairly convinced I’ve seen a freakin’ oriole in my life outside here in MA.

SO I’ve turned this into a whole debate with her family and mine and it has boiled down to this girls vs boys dilemma:

Women of families are convinced all the MEN are stupid bozos who THINK they’ve seen an oriole because we watch baseball and know the Baltimore orioles, and that we are all idiots and actually only seeing robins.

MY ASS has pulled up specific bird reports, found bird apps where people document their bird watching, and there ARE orioles here in MA but until one flies its little bird ass around and I can point it out this will never be resolved. Free Karen Read, too

 

Fight the good fight but remember in the back of your mind women are always somehow right even when they seem like they aren’t

however, thinking you’d mistake an oriole for a robin is kind of an insult lmao, they don’t even really look alike

 

@theagentcoma would be proud, i memorized the noise a redwing blackbird makes the other day while nature walking and now I can recognize them anywhere
