Had a guy come out to give us an estimate for new windows like 2-3 weeks ago.

Got in touch with my HOA and they need a formal order form sent to them to be approved. Fine.

The window guy HAS NOT done this and it’s been weeks and now won’t answer my calls. Like wtf man

 

damn we got a new place and it will be our first HOA

not looking forward to fighting them over my bird feeders

 

We got an email within 2 weeks to “stop feeding the wildlife” when we put up a bird feeder.

 

the thought of an HOA makes my blood boil lol

i'd purposely do shit to piss them off

I got a letter about something we needed to clear up or else "you will be fined and not be able to use our amenities until the fine is paid" and I was just like what amenities lmfao you give us nothing

 

honestly cant fault him i procrastinate paperwork in my life all the time

 

shoulda just wrote back "ameniDEEZ"

I, too, procrastinate but if I owned a business and could make a quick several thousand $$$’s I’d spend the 5 minutes to write a quick email stating “placing 4 windows, no grid, white, etc” lol

 

I have no idea if we were supposed to consult our HOA about our fence before we replaced it but we didn't

I hated our HOA when we lived in a townhouse. They were always a pain in the ass. Our house technically has HOA but they're out of California and never come here. So we just pay a yearly check and live our lives.
