I get my suit dry cleaned like once a year before I need to wear it again, but every time I'm in there I always see a bunch of shit on the rack that is 10000000000000% machine washable

These back to back made me feel like the boots were the only thing left you had to move from the old house

 

I have 2 cardigans that are hand wash only so I just never wear them.

I’ve lived in many places that required a laundromat. Sometimes I’ll have a friend that’s nice and lets me use their washer and dryer. Mostly here I use a laundromat by my practice space so I can play guitar while the dryers are going. But I also sometimes will just stagger it so that I’m transferring one load into the dryer just as another’s finishing and I’ll fold one load just as another’s drying etc.

it still without fail takes 3 hours though. I always underestimate how much time is taken up by getting change, getting all the shit in and out of the car, etc. I am compulsive about how I separate and fold clothes, but it feels stressful to not just take my time with earphones in or something just cause it’s so much laundry at once.

No dishwasher is a hard line for me. I need a dishwasher. I will hand wash the occasional dish that doesn’t fit in the dishwasher but I cannot stand hand washing a sink full of dirty shit. I actually just feel like shit gets cleaner if you scrape it off and dishwash it cause it’s easy to miss spots when you’re standing there washing dishes forever

 

how often are we doing laundry? im usually every 2 weeks.

 

I take my nice dress shirts that I wear for work to the dry cleaners and then suits when needed. Take winter coats once a year when ever they have a sale.

 

I’m doing laundry every other day lol.

 

i did laundry like 2 or 3 times a week when i had a machine in the apartment for sure lol

I don't think I've ever used a laundromat. I didn't have a washer/dryer at my apartment, but we lived close to my mother in law so we did it there.
